LawyerPricing is operated by GCW Digital LLC. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Search inputs: the specialty, ZIP code, and distance you choose. The ZIP is used in your browser to work out distance and isn't stored with your name.
• Forms you submit: a report about a listing (email, reason), or a claim (ARDC number, firm email, message, where clients should contact the firm).
• Account data if you log in with Google: your name, email address, and Google account ID.
• If you confirm by email, we store your email address and when you confirmed.
• Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, used for security and rate limiting.
• Click counts on listings: for each firm, how many times per day its page or contact details were viewed or clicked. These counts hold no personal information and are kept whether or not you choose Allow.
• If you arrive from one of our emails, the link tells us which listing the email was about.

Information about law firms

Our listings include information law firms publish about themselves on their own websites and in public business listings: firm name, address, phone number, website, practice areas, advertised prices, and the names of attorneys listed on the firm's site. We keep dated copies of the web pages where we found prices, as a record of what each page said and when. A firm can correct its listing or ask us to remove it at any time using "Report inaccurate price or request removal" on its listing.

How we use it

We use form details only to review reports and claims and to keep the site secure. We don't sell your information. We never share or sell your email address: the one you use to sign in or claim a listing stays with us. We used to have a quote request form; requests sent through it before it was removed are kept, and they aren't used for anything else.

Analytics and cookies

Analytics and cookies. We count visits for everyone using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't record your session. If you choose Allow on our banner, we also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure visits, and Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. Clarity hides the text on the page and never records what you type in forms. Nothing is recorded unless you choose Allow. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Separately, we use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to see how the site appears in search results. These aren't visitor-analytics tools: they report on search performance, not on you, and add nothing to our pages.

Sharing

We share form details with service providers that host the site or send email for us. When you use a firm's "Contact this firm" button, you leave LawyerPricing for the firm's own page, phone number or email, and we don't collect what you send there. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete information you submitted through the contact page. Reports about a listing may be kept while we review them.
